Description
Vicki Graham, from Hooking by The Sea hostings a fun and interesting experiential tour and retreat. Vicki is a well-known and respected rug hooker who specializes in teaching others the craft of rug hooking from the production of wool, the spinning of wool into yarn and the creation of hand hooked rugs. Vickis teaching style is relaxed, and low-stress while providing a wealth of information. The focus of her retreats are to keep the heritage of hooking and spining alive in Nova Scotia. Her tours help others to learn how to spin wool along with information about the heritage breed of sheep called The Cotswold. The retreats also offer a chance for participants to explore some of the local attractions around Brier Island. Vicki's newly opened Gallery is located in the historic Joshua Slocum Boot Shop on Brier Island.
